NVMe PCIe M.2 Storage Offers The Portability Without The Performance Compromise

SSD and Enclosure

If you're looking to upgrade your storage situation while saving a little money you should look into NVMe PCIe M.2 storage. There are multiple generations and it can get confusing so I'll do a deep into into all that in another blog post. Blog Post 004 - How To Rip Blu-Ray (4k+4kUHD) With Buffalo

Ditch your paid streaming services and self host with Jellyfin

My Jellyfin Server

Streaming services have been out of control for many years, eventually you hit a breaking point and want to cancel them all. I don't think anyone would mind watching a few ads during their content if it meant one stable price for the platform, unlimited accounts, and access to all quaity formats. That sounds pretty fair to me actually, everyone still gets paid and the customers get the content they want. Instead we're forced to believe it's normal to have the rug pulled out from our feet! You pay for a subscripition, then they want extra money for content packages, extra money for "no ads", extra money for better video and audio quality, extra money for more users, and then every 9 months they raise the prices for everything by a few dollars and remove more features away!!

Blog Post 003 - Self Host Your Website With Github Pages and Hugo

Self Hosting Made Simple

The beauty of open source and Github pages

Everyone wants a cool website to show off their work or post blogs (like me) but nobody wants to get looped into the endless subsription fees. People assume the only cheap alternative is using a free boring wix website but I'm here to tell you about the beautiful world of Hugo.

Blog Post 002 - Why you should be purchasing the Raspberry Pi 500+ in 2026

The best value in 2026 for Raspberry Pi

Right now the Raspberry Pi 500+ is on sale at Microcenter for $200.00 (50% off)

Link to 500+

For a while now, RAM prices have been hitting everyone extremely hard and for my fellow American readers you'll know tariffs aren't helping anything whatsoever. If Microcenter doesn't carry what you want then you're forced to paying scalper prices or buying directly from the source and paying insane tariffs. Most of these SBC manufacturers like Raspberry Pi are located in the UK. With there being no end in the near future to all these price hikes you might have given up on building new projects but I'm here to tell you there is still a chance you can get a good deal in 2026.

Blog Post 001 - How I Accidentally Created Odin's First SDK Building My Videogame

Under The Hood

Let's take a deep-dive into my video game written in Odin that ships eight binaries across four operating systems, two CPU architectures, and builds it's own compiler from source and bootstraps that compiler to build the game. It's truly madness! Odin is young. There's no Cargo or go build cross-compilation ecosystem of prebuilt runners, no crates.io of packaging helpers, and no Flathub SDK extension. Most Odin projects handle this by not handling it at all, no offense to those other projects. To get around this I had to create my own software dev kit for Odin, hopefully this information can help you too:
